Mug Dachshund Dusty

Our ceramics are printed, painted and glazed by hand in Swabia. The color can be a bit lighter or darker, different shades can appear on the surface and the print of the dachshund/motif is not sharp-edged, even and the same over the entire surface. Beautiful handmade unique pieces are created, no piece is like the other.

Our ceramics are cast, removed from the mold by hand and reworked. After the first firing, we glaze it by hand here in Swabia (painted & printed). Then it's off to the oven again and maybe soon to you!

// Dishwasher & cleaning
Our ceramics can go in the dishwasher. Afterwards, however, it should not remain in the steam for too long so that it can dry out quickly and easily. When rinsing by hand, do not use abrasive cleaning agents. It is best to clean with a soft sponge. Do not soak in water. Otherwise, the ceramic can draw water in unglazed areas and form cracks in the glaze or crack.

// Microwave & Oven
Our ceramics are not suitable for the microwave or oven. In general, do not expose the ceramic to unusually high temperature fluctuations, otherwise hairline cracks may appear in the glaze.

// Miscellaneous
Ceramic is only partially impact-resistant. Just be gentle with it. Any abrasions from metal (cutlery) can be cleaned with special ceramic cleaners.

Stoneware is a relatively soft ceramic. If it is knocked hard, subjected to excessive force, or dropped, it can break into individual pieces or splinter loose. This can result in sharp edges and broken pieces.

Please handle broken ceramics carefully and dispose of them according to local recycling regulations.

Food safety is only guaranteed if the surface is undamaged and the glaze is intact.
